Physics is the foundation of science. It connects mathematics to the real world in applicable and useful ways. There are many careers that involve and utilize aspects of physics such as engineering, medicine, communication, computer science, education, and virtually every science career you can imagine. Most importantly, physics is all about problem solving, so in studying physics, you can learn how to solve problems more effectively, efficiently, and gain a new respect and appreciation for the universe we live in.
